Message to Robert Labelle and John Noone

Gentlemen:

Judging from the information on the website, you are the coordinators for the Alta Sierran. I do not know if that means editors or not.

Thank you for your work on the newspaper. My wife and I enjoy the monthly updates and news about our community. We appreciate your efforts.

I have noticed that the "County Government Update" by Supervisor Sue Horne has appeared on the front cover for the last several issues. We appreciate the governmental news and observations made by Supervisor Horne, and we read them wherever they appear in the Alta Sierran. However, I have not read anything in any of her columns that would justify a front page placement, and most of them have little to do specifically with Alta Sierra. I would prefer that the front page featured a news story truly about Alta Sierra, or at least that the County Government Update not appear on the front page every month. It gives the impression that the Alta Sierran is simply a political brochure for Supervisor Horne.

Certainly this is not an urgent issue, but I wanted to share my opinion.

Thank you and,

All the best,
Bill Ososki
