Under the heading “Links” in the main menu above, you will now be able to choose among 4 sets of links:
- LOCAL AREA INFORMATION - links to area information for Nevada County, Grass Valley, Nevada City, and other local organizations.
- IMPORTANT SERVICES - Important numbers to call for various county and other services.
- LOCAL BUSINESS ADS - A new section where we will gladly post information about and links to business and services which are in Alta Sierra or which serve the residents of Alta Sierra. Send your requests for inclusion on this section by filling out a Comment form in the Contact section of this website.
- PAST ISSUES OF THE ALTA SIERRAN - Enjoy looking at past issues of our local newspaper, the Alta Sierran. The files are large, so be patient when waiting for them to load. The files are in PDF format, and you will need the free Adobe PDF reader program to view them. If you need to download the latest version of that program, visit this link.
