ASPOA Board accomplishments, vacancies

Several board members and directors are stepping down after three years of service to the community:
>> Al Schafer, President
>> John Noone, Propane director
>> Donna Lee, Youth coordinator
>> Karen Robbins, Secretary
>> Rich Daniels, Treasurer
The community thanks them, and those directors who are staying on, for their service.
The accomplishments over the last three years are many:
• Redesigned front entry on Hwy. 49 and Alta Sierra
• New rock sign and landscaping at Dog Bar and Alta Sierra
• Neighborhood watch revitalized and expanded
• 8% increase in membership
• Alta Sierran newspaper revamped
• Annual Membership Picnic reinstated
• Donations to youth programs
• Yard waste program
• Negotiated reduced pricing with Ferrellgas for members
The $25 membership fee to the ASPOA is a small price to pay for the above services, the savings offered by being a member are far greater. Join the ASPOA and consider filling one of the vacancies on the board.
