The ASPOA Board of Directors met ay 9:00 am on May 4, 2009 at the Alta Sierra Country Club. Board members discussed a number of topics.
Preparations are completed for the annual Yard Waste Collection weekend on May 16 and 17. See the post below this one for all the info.
Several board members are concerned about the growing number of “illegal” business signs in Alta Sierra, seemingly multiplying with the economy’s woes. They are posted in violation of county ordinances, and should be removed.
The ASPOA membership year begins on July 1. Membership renewal letters will be mailed out soon after May 15. The Alta Sierra membership cards will no longer be issued. See the Sponsor’s Corner in your monthly issue of the Alta Sierran for local merchants’ discounts.
Most of the details are finalized for the annual ASPOA Barbecue on June 6th. Be sure to send in your check - $5 per adult ASPOA member, $10 per ASPOA member family, $7.50 per non-member adults, $15 per non-member family. Good food, swimming, games, lots of fun!
