Alta Sierra Property Owners Association

The Alta Sierra Property Owner’s Association Board met at the Alta Sierra Country Club on Feb.2, 2009 at 9:00AM. All year-end reports will appear in the Alta Sierran Newspaper, which will come out this week.

Current financial reports were presented; a few clarifications and adjustments were made.  We finalized the contract with The Union for the Alta Sierran, which will include a classified section for our area.

March 10, 2009 ASPOA will host a Town Hall Meeting.  We went over the proposed agenda and speaker list.  More information will appear in the Alta Sierran.

May 2-3, 2009 has been scheduled for the Scotch Broom removal.

The sign at Dog Bar and Alta Sierra Dr. has been completed.  Please drive by and take a look.  The next step will be to landscape around the “rock” in natural grasses and other drought/deer resistant plants. 

The 2^nd ASPOA BBQ has been scheduled for June 6, 2009.  Further information will appear soon. 

Our neighborhood watch captain Lee French, has reported there have been a lot of vandal and theft reports in the area.  Remember to lock your cars and houses.

Bob Putz, our roads and safety chairman, has had complaints about speeding on Lime Kiln.  The CHP will be alerted.
