The ASPOA Board meeting was held on April 7, 2008 at the Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley.

The Board set goals for the year, which include:

            1.  Improvements to the entrances of Alta Sierra to enhance our identity. 

            2. An annual picnic to introduce the Board, programs sponsored by our community, and to improve community spirit. 

            3.  Put together welcome packets for new members to our community.

Activities for the June picnic were discussed.

Scotch Broom is a problem in Nevada County.  ASPOA would like to help those who need help with its removal.  If you need help (it must be dug out by the roots, not just cut off) please call 271-0766 to make arrangements.
