Board Minutes - Highlights August 2007

Kathy Carey August 15th, 2007

We are finalizing the details for placing a boulder sign at the entrance at Alta Sierra Drive and Dog Bar Road.

The local Boy Scouts troop is volunteering to help with our projects, in order to be awarded merit badges. We discussed possible tasks for them.

The Neighborhood Watch team is tracking vandalism in Alta Sierra. The Sheriff’s office is aware of this.

The main entrance at Alta Sierra Drive and Hwy 49 needs improving; perhaps the landscaping will be redone. We’ll revisit next month.

We are sponsoring a new youth soccer team, the Alley Cats.

Noisy dogs and messy yards continue to be reported to the CC&R committee.

    To whom it may concern:

I live in Alta Sierra for 22 years. In a rental house, a band has moved in and I would like to know if there is an ordinance for the noise for hours during the day and evening that can be implemented to stop this. It affects dozens of houses in the area in the Ragan Way and Ball Rd area. Please email either way.
    Thank you for your time.

ASPOA has no authority to enforce noise ordinances. Please contact the County Sheriff to make a noise complaint. Sorry for the delay in replying.
