Board Minutes - Highlights July 2007

The monthly board meeting was held at the Alta Sierra Country Club on July 2, 2007. The meeting was called to order at 9:08.
Committee Reports:
Membership: Many membership renewals and new memberships are still coming in, which were due July 1, 2007.
Treasury: Rich Daniels reported we have a cash balance of $30,795.46 in our ASPOA account.
Architectural Review: Paul Kranz, committee chair, will occasionally put an article in the Alta Sierran newspaper-informing residents about the CC&R’s for Alta Sierra. There have been many issues regarding fencing, tree removal, and junk cars. In addition, a new committee member is needed for this committee.
Fire Safety: Jim Barrilleaux, committee chair, noted that it would be a good idea to have “No Fireworks” signs posted at entrances to Alta Sierra as another reminder to our community. He also passed out the evacuation plan map of Alta Sierra noting that it, along with a wild fire plan for the county, will be revised soon. Money for grants to help with this project is available.
